Training SCRP Sites in Implementing and Assessing Evidence-Based, Culturally-Responsive Strategies for Engaging Ethnic Minority Families in Mental Health Services

The following deliverables will be provided over the course of the 12-month project duration period (1/15/18 - 1/14/19) for all 10 sites of SCRP: completion of quantitative surveys and scoring, focus group administration and qualitative coding, needs assessment reports, trainings to providers on cultural competency, ongoing consultation on methods and tools to assess cultural competency, review of therapy recordings for observational coding of provider and client behaviors, feedback report with consultation on cultural competency for each provider that participates. Note: 1) Quantitative survey participants for needs assessment can be unlimited providers per site, 2) focus group participants for needs assessment not to exceed 10 providers per site, 3) number of participants for training on cultural competency can be unlimited providers per site, 4) ongoing consultation and therapy recording review and feedback report limited to 20 providers per site.
