I joined CSUN in 2019. I currently serve as the Program Director of the Master of Science in Business Analytics and as an Assistant Professor of Information Systems in the SOM Department. I have taught and am currently teaching a variety of graduate and undergraduate MS BANA and IS courses.

With over 20 years of tech industry experience in 4 countries, I’ve held roles from junior programmer to CEO. I also founded three successful tech firms, which continue to thrive and offer valuable insights into industry dynamics.

My academic journey is also diverse. I hold a bachelor's degree in computer engineering, an MBA, and a PhD in Information Systems from the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University, Canada. I also have several certificates, including management of Enterprise Data Analytics from the University of Toronto.

My research is not just theoretical. Mainly, I explore human interactions with disruptive technologies like AI and data analytics, including natural language processing (NLP), large language models (LLMs), social media analytics, reasoning in AI models, AI governance, and CI/CD. My CI/CD research examines how automation in software development pipelines can enhance agility and reduce deployment risks in AI and data-driven systems, ultimately improving scalability and maintainability. My work has been published in leading academic journals, including Decision Support Systems, Journal of Computer Information Systems, and Internet Research.
