Brief Biography
Dr. Mahjoob is a Professor at Mechanical Engineering Department, California State University, Northridge. Her field of expertise is thermal-fluids sciences and has worked on a wide range of mechanical engineering projects, using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), analytical, and experimental techniques. Her research expertise and interest include, but not limited to, electronics cooling, heat transfer through porous media, electric vehicle battery cooling, thermal transport in micro-channels, energy recovery and storage systems, multi phase flow, boiling and phase change, bioheat transfer, renewable energy, rotor aerodynamics, wind and gas turbines, jet impingement, and film cooling.
