Brief Biography
Sharon Greene is a Screenwriter, Playwright, Teacher and Producer with a specialty in facilitating terrific creative collaborations. Her film Operator premiered at SXSW and was incubated by the Sundance Labs, Film Independent, and with the support of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation for Science and Technology. She also wrote Wild Prairie Rose, the first feature film starring Oscar winner Troy Kotsur. Both can be streamed on Amazon. Her recent, collaboratively written play, 46 Plays for America's First Ladies, was selected as a New York Times' Critic's Pick, and is published by Playscripts/Broadway Licensing. She has written, pitched and produced for numerous Documentary Series including Lost L.A. on KCET. Sharon is based in Los Angeles where she is an Assistant Professor of Screenwriting at California State University, Northridge. When not writing, she enjoys producing other things like communal meals, long kayaking trips, and her two children.
