Brief Biography
I'm Sharon Lim, Course Coordinator and Faculty in Academic First Year Experiences at California State University, Northridge. I've spent the past decade teaching first-year students, and I now work with faculty to develop and implement student-centered practices that support first-year student success. I received my M.A. in English with an emphasis in Rhetoric and Composition from CSUN and B.A. in English from UC Santa Barbara. I've presented at conferences like Conference on College Composition and Communication and Rhetoric Society of America, and my work has appeared in publications like Journal of Global Literacies, Technologies, and Emerging Pedagogies.
