Siqi Wei is the Stelmar Family Faculty Fellow and Associate Professor of Finance in the David Nazarian College of Business and Economics at California State University, Northridge. His scholarly pursuits focus on various aspects of finance, primarily institutional investors, market efficiency, corporate finance, and emerging financial technologies. Siqi's recent research interests center around skill-biased technological change and its labor finance outcomes. Siqi's research is featured on financial media outlets such as Bloomberg and Columbia Law School's Blue Sky blog on corporations and capital markets. His research has been published in finance journals including the Journal of Corporate Finance, International Review of Financial Analysis, International Review of Economics and Finance, Emerging Market Review, Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Finance, among others.
In addition to his research endeavors, Siqi imparts his expertise through teaching various finance courses at both the undergraduate and graduate (MBA) levels such as Corporate Finance, Investments, Quantitative Finance I & II, Financial Modeling with Python, and Personal Finance.
Siqi also serves as the Faculty advisor for the FMA - CSUN chapter and the Associate Director of the Center for Asian Finance and Business Research (CAFBR).
