Brief Biography
Dr. Sohyun An Kim earned her Ph.D. in Special Education in June 2022 from the Human Development and Psychology Division at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) through their Joint Doctoral Program with California State University, Los Angeles (Cal State LA). Along with her doctoral degree, she obtained the Advanced Certificate in Quantitative Methods through the Social Research Methods Division of the Education Department at UCLA. She holds a current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification as well as a California teaching credential. Her teaching specializations include cognitive & social development, atypical development, autism, positive behavior support, with additional expertise in quantitative research methods. She has been a lecturer at CSUN since 2020, teaching undergraduate courses in child development and quantitative research methods.
