Public health is a constantly evolving field, which is exciting. A focus on technology as a mechanism to provide more efficient and effective prevention programs for populations in need is one of the exciting trends in our field.

I engage in scholarly research to mentor new scholars, students who are inspired and interested in research, evaluation, and scholarly activities. And also to serve and explore.

On what it means to be at CSUN...

CSUN is special to me as I graduated (undergraduate) in the same department as my faculty appointment. CSUN signifies support and opportunity to me.
