Brief Biography
Svetlana Tyutina is an Assistant Professor and Graduate Program Coordinator at the Dept. of Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures. Her research interests include Hispanic Orientalism, modern Spanish syntax, and languages for specific purposes (LSP). Dr. Tyutina focuses on teaching literature in Spanish; her translation and interpretation and linguistics classes have a service learning component connecting students to the community and potential future employers.
