After finishing my doctoral work, I had several junior appointments at Midwest and East-Coast universities before joining CSUN in 1987. During my 43 years of professional academic life, I have done the following, among other things:
Published 11 academic books and 58 academic articles.
Made 88 academic presentations (with 71 different contents).
Received the Preeminent Scholarly Publication Award from CSUN.
Received three NEH grants.
Refereed for Oxford University Press, Princeton University Press, Routledge, The Journal of Philosophy, Mind, Nous, Synthese, Philosophical Studies, Philosophy and Phenomenological Research, and many other internationally acclaimed academic publishers and journals.
