Brief Biography
Thomas Mitchell is an adjunct lecturer in the Deaf Studies Department. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from The Ohio State University and holds two Master of Science degrees, one from University of Cincinnati and one from National University. During the day, he is a full-time Teacher of the Deaf (ToD) with the Los Angeles Unified School District. Also, he is on board of the California Educators of the Deaf, an organization dedicated to the pursuit of educational excellence for Deaf children. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, and working out.
