As a proponent of community participation in urban planning, I work with communities to help them shape their built environments. Through partnerships with local government agencies and non-profit organizations from various socioeconomic status neighborhoods in Los Angeles, I conduct and supervise research related to streetscape, walkability, traffic safety, and resiliency.
