Brief Biography
Dr. Qais Amarkhil is an Assistant Professor at California State University, Northridge. He began his career in civil engineering in 2009 after graduating with a BS degree in civil engineering. From 2009 to 2013, he worked in the construction industry as a civil engineer. He later joined academia at his alma mater, where he taught until 2017.
Dr. Amarkhil is a Fulbright and Rotary International Scholar who completed his master's and Ph.D. in construction management technology at Purdue University West Lafayette, USA. His research interests include project planning and control automation and optimization, enhancing efficiency and productivity through innovative methods and advanced technologies, and low-impact construction techniques. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals.
