Dr. Qais Amarkhil is an Assistant Professor at California State University, Northridge, and a Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), and member of ASCE. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and his master’s and Ph.D. in Construction Engineering and Management from Purdue University. He is a two-time Fulbright Scholar and Rotary Peace Fellow. His research focuses on construction operations, BIM, scheduling, automation, simulation and optimization, and AI in construction to improve planning, decision-making, and project performance. He has over five years of construction industry experience.
