This proposal for the Collaborative Opportunity Grants is offered to support Bridge to the Future (B2F), a new and innovative student success partnership between California State University, Northridge (CSUN) and the community of Canoga Park. Conceived in 2014, B2F is designed to improve high school student enrollment, access to, and retention within the university through sustained community collaborations. As discussed below, this proposal is aligned with two of the grant?s investment areas: a) Investment Area 3: Leveraging Community Assets; and b) Investment Area 5: Integrating & Strengthening K-16 Systems. Funding received from this proposal will be utilized to support B2F program staff, key community collaborations, and student peer mentoring opportunities.
