This project is a subaward from the Childcare Resource center (CCRC). CCRC will convene community partners and join more than 60 county agencies, organizations and programs across diverse disciplines and sectors to better connect children and their families to community resources. Working with the CCRC, CSUN will meet to develop a strategic plan that supports a comprehensive and coordinated system to support young children?s optimal development and well-being. CSUN's specific activities will include: a. Administrative Oversight ? Assess the capacity needs of the community collaborative; b. Multi-level Community Coordination ? Engage Collaborative Agencies and Supportive Partners; c. Participate in recurring workgroups of supporting partners who have mutual interests and service the same populations d. Aid in collecting regional information and establishing a baseline of the current referral and screening process, including successes and barriers. e. Aid in obtaining an assessment of community needs through an environmental scan of the geographic area to determine underserved and missed populations to inform a targeted outreach plan. f. Regional Learning i. Support the evaluation of the Help Me Grow LA Pathways initiative to generate actionable learnings on implementation and outcomes; ii. Generate ongoing learning and continuous quality improvement (CQI) processes to improve the implementation of HMG LA Pathways with the community and across communities; g. Resource Mobilization ? Attract and leverage local resources (funding, staff, services, assets, etc.); h. Pilot Collaborative Identified Strategies ? Support the HMG LA Pathways community with ongoing planning of strategies; i. Strategy Design Partners ? Provide feedback in the identification, planning, implementation and evaluation of EII strategies in the HMG LA Pathways community; j. Participate in trainings of university students to support program activities. k. Support community needs assessment and evaluation activities, including recruitment, review of data collection methods, and support with data analysis and reporting. l. Participate in workshops for childcare providers to identify children who have delays. m. Participate in workshops for parents to identify children who have delays n. Assist with support, outreach, and education for essential workers who work with, or who have, children. o. Assist with the development of educational materials like videos and social media campaigns.
