How has your personal background influenced your work at CSUN?

I believe that CSUN provides access to an excellent education for students. We are a hands-on University even with 40K students. Our students get the theoretical underpinnings of their field of interests as well as a practical understanding and application of the theories in laboratory and other hands on (not virtual) experiences.
