Dr. Aramali is an Assistant Professor at the Civil Engineering and Construction Management Department at California State University - Northridge (CSUN). Dr. Aramali's current research activity is focused on earned value management systems applied in an integrated project and program management setting for a research project for the U.S. Department of Energy. She has a wide variety of further research interests. They include front-end planning, project definition rating index, use of group-based research methods (research charrettes), EPC contracts, operational variations of EPC project delivery approach of power plant projects, proposal management, construction safety, and other advanced project management and research topics.

Dr. Aramali previously worked as a deputy proposal manager for a world-class EPC turnkey contractor for the engineering, procurement, and construction of large and complex multimillion-dollar projects in the Middle East and North Africa. Dr. Aramali has authored and co-authored peer-reviewed journal and conference papers. She is also an active reviewer who reviews the quality of research papers submitted to the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE)'s Journal of Construction Engineering and Management and Journal of Management in Engineering.
